About the Position

The IT Manager at TrialSpark is responsible for ensuring our rapidly growing team is equipped with the systems needed to deliver a top-notch technical work environment. Primary day-to-day activities include the deployment and ongoing maintenance of technical infrastructure across the organization, as well as management of the IT Support team. The IT Manager works closely with the rest of the organization to implement technical solutions and look for ways to improve our processes as the business scales.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manage and deploy IT systems, including but not limited to MacOS, MDM,  JAMF, Google Workspace, inventory management, Zoom video conferencing and A/V solutions
• Lead the automation of ITl processes and identifying opportunities for ongoing improvement
• Manage and lead the IT Support team, including direct management of high-performing IT Support Technician(s) and setting the roadmap for short and long term project work 
• Partner cross-functionally to implement technical solutions for complex business problems
• Lead and manage IT projects across the organization with the support of TechOps management.
• Maintain IT policies, SOPs and support work for audit preparation
• Maintain relationships and partner with vendors to escalate issues, resolve problems, and track work to completion.
• Work closely with Security on various technical initiatives

• Unix and PowerShell scripting
• IT Project and vendor management
• Identity and Access management
• MacOS and Windows management
• Mobile device management
• Google Workspace administration
• People management skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in relevant field
• 3+ years of experience in an IT Management role
• Proven ability to manage complex IT projects from start to finish
• Minimum 1-2 years of scripting experience

We pay all employees competitively relative to the New York City market, regardless of their location. In compliance with NYC’s pay transparency law and in pursuit of pay equity and fairness, we publish salary ranges for all open roles at TrialSpark. The target salary range for this role is $115,000 - $150,000.
